Ichikami

A lot of people like ichikami but i dont. i bought the shampoo cos i heard good reviews of it. it costed me $7.90 but i ended up trashing it because it made my hair fall excessively! >:( i'm also not a fan of the scent. i prefer essential.

i've also tried a sample of their hair mask, but i'd say essential is better as it is more moisturising and smells better. perhaps, ichikami is only better in terms of ingredients. ichikami uses natural ingredients and minimal chemicals.

i also have some samples of their hair essence but essential is again better because ichikami's essence is oily and sticky after using and i feel that it doesnt work as well as essential's.

so, i'm not a fan of ichikami. i want to try lucidol's hair essence next :P

Wild rose essence will add on moisturization to hair as well. Gives damaged, flat and limp hair a light and bouncy feel.
180g

The first product i bought from this line is the pink hair treatment because i needed a conditioner and xiaxue advertised this. it only costs $6.90 and it's really good. it managed to take care of my hair and make it softer and smoother after months of using it. plus, it smells really good. i use this everyday when i bathe and leave it on for 3 minutes as stated. The pink line is supposed to make flat/limp hair look more volumnous and lively, while the orange one is to manage thick frizzy hair.

Anti Frizz Serum

Intensive Leave-on Treatment enriched with High Purity Honey Oil & Cuticle repair essence.
Instantly repair dry and damaged hair. Hair stays smooth and bouncy all day.
60ml
Next, i bought the anti-frizz serum (pink one) because xx advertised it as well and it turned out to be a great buy! for $9.90, you get 60ml of essence and the essence is seriously non oily and sticky unlike many others. it leaves hair moisturized, smooth and in control. it also has a similar fruity floral scent.
Intensive Hair Mask
Intensive care for severely damaged hair, without the heaviness.
Enriched with 3x more High Purity Honey and Milk Protein to protect and strengthen.
Shea Butter repairs and moisturizes.
Gives limp and flat hair a light and bouncy feel.
200g
Then i bought the hair mask for $9.90 as well. i felt like pampering myself one day and shea butter is good and very moisturizing. so i went to get it and it smells heavenly <3 really sweet, fruity and floral. i'm a fan of this scent hahah. it's quite hard to get the product out of the tub and i dont use too much also, so this can really last me a long time. just take enough to spread out on your palm then work it into your hair ends and leave it on for 15mins, although the instructions say 5. whatever you want. usually i do a wash off face mask as well to save time. Dont put the hair mask on your roots as this may be too moisturizing for your scalp and you'll get oily hair. i heard that you can leave it on overnight or for a few hours then wash it off. i did that a few times so that the smell will stay in my hair longer!
the range still has a shampoo and conditioner but i havent tried those yet. they are probably around 4.90-6.90, really cheap. so try it out! (though i think the conditioner is useless cos there is the treatment tube which also acts as a conditioner).

i redeemed a set of samples from eucerin last year, and they gave 1.5ml satchets of their cleanser, active concentrate (serum), hydrating care (day cream) and active night care (night cream). the cleanser is really gentle but doesnt foam much. it cleans well though. cleansers are important for clearing excess sebum and dirt on the face so make sure you get a good one. the serum was cloudy and liquidy but nice to use. it was soothing for the skin and since it is the serum, i'm thinking it has most of the goodness stored in that small bottle. so better to spend on it than the rest instead. the moisturizer and night cream were very light and easily absorbed by the skin. the night cream is more moisturizing and i woke up to nicer skin every day :D the day cream supposedly has oil absorbing powder but i'm not sure cos my face still gets oily after awhile. btw, eucerin is good for sensitive skin :)

NuTeen (by Ginvera)

I'm feeling lazy so i will update this page about the product descriptions and ingredients list (if i can find) when i am free. for now, i'm sure you'd have read other blogs and reviews about this series of products before coming here.

the first product i tried was the sleeping mask, which i redeemed as a sample from their facebook page. they gave 3ml worth of product in the satchet and i really liked the product. i liked the scent! although a lot of people wouldnt. it has the same ginvera smell but stronger and it lingers for awhile. the mask is cooling, refreshing and light on the skin. it absorbs really fast and leaves the skin soft and smooth. it's supposed to treat pimples while you sleep and prevent the formation of new pimples and blemishes. well yes, it did it's job in treating pimples and speeding up the recovery of my pimples. although it is recommended to use 2-3 times a week, i see no harm in using it every night.

i played the nuteen rescue my face game and i won their hamper, so i got the full range of products! :D i used the blackheads away gel, toner and pimple gel. the blackheads away gel is just like an exfoliator. doesnt do anything much to remove blackheads. so dont buy the product description. lol. the toner is nice to use. refreshing and has witch hazel extract to tighten the pores. the pimple gel doesnt really do much for my pimples. so after using all these, i realized my face wasnt clearing up but instead breaking out, so i discontinued usage and gave them away. except for the sleeping mask hahah.

i got the moisturizer when i went to the warehouse sale. it claims to be able to control oil, so i wanted to try it out. but it has isopropyl myristate which clogs pores, so i didnt use it much. it is light and absorbs well and comes in a 90ml bottle.

i didnt try the acnes and pimples away cleanser above, but i tried this one, oil away cool cleanser.  it leaves a cooling feeling after washing and is a creamy wash as compared to the other one which is a gel foam wash. but i dont think this cleanses very well as i still got a few pimples everyday :(

so..i would only recommend the sleeping mask which can be purchased at watsons for 15.90 for a small 30ml pot. but it is their star product.

Amethystory Mineral Bubble Face Wash

Amethyst, a semi-precious gemstone, is a violet variety of the quartz often used in jewelry. It has a unique colour and this gemstone is often believed to be a natural tranquilizer for dispelling intoxication, relieving stress, soothing irritation, balancing mood and inspiring the intellect. In fact, the origins of the name came from the Ancient Greek word 'amethystos' meaning 'not intoxicated', a reference to the belief that the stone protects its owner from negativity. A large number of further miraculous powers are attributed to the amethyst in all sorts of cultures, including bringing you good luck and abundance.

Amethyst is well known as a natural aid for our body. It produces small, detectable magnetic field & emits beneficial far infrared radiation & negative ions that enhance circulation, promote anti-oxidation & rejuvenate skin cells, all of which are essential to help smoothen & beautify skin.

A coveted gem desired for its power to heal and rejuvenate, this purple quartz gemstone, Amethyst, is uniquely incorporated into the latest skincare series from Amethystory which contains real amethyst granules with triple functions:
Cell-rejuvenation, anti-oxidation & promotion of micro blood circulation for a healthier and more luminous skin. This could be more than a fairytale come true!

160ml

Ingredients: Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoglucosides Hydroxypropylsufonate, Cocamdropropyl Betaine, Propylene Glycol, Myristyl Sarcrinate, Glycerin, Zinc Oxide, Sodium Oxide, Calcium Oxide, Magnesium Oxide, Amethyst Powder, Polysotate 20, Caprylcyl Salicyclic Acid, Fragrance, Citric Acid, ETDA,

Following the foaming cleanser fad, Amethystory (by Ginvera) also released a foaming facial cleanser. It's 14.90 for 160ml and can be purchased from watsons. I bought it when it came out and was on promotional price :P amethyst is supposed to be good for the skin as descried above but the cleanser has SLS which may put some people off. It doesnt produce foam as thick and fluffy as Biore's and is more watery. Although a lot of reviews state that the cleasner is scentless, there is actually fragrance added in the ingredients list, and i can smell it! but i dont mind, i like scented products but i know a lot of people out there dont. I dont use this anymore as i prefer biore's. does anyone want my half used bottled? hahah

Amethystory also has other products:
i got the mineral aqua gel sample by liking their page on facebook. it's an 8ml sample in a purple tube. quite watery and so it comes out really easily. it works like cure, removing dead skin as you rub it. it doesnt work on my face though, idk why. cure doesnt as well. but otherwise, this is a cheaper alternative to cure! and i heard that the mineral aqua whitening enhancer is quite good, so you can check that out too.

Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash

Photo taken from kao website

New Innovative Biore Marshmallow Whip Facial Wash gives you instant foam with just 1 pump without the need for lathering! Ultra fine fluffy foam, with bubbles smaller than your pores, penetrates deep into your pores to remove all impurities and dirt effectively yet gently. Collagen-enriched formula moisturizes skin for a baby smooth touch after wash! Suitable for normal or combination skin.
150ml

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Sorbitol, PEG-150, Lauric Acid, Dipropylene Glycol, Laureth-6 Carboxylic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Potassium Hydroxide, Myristic Acid, Arginine, Lauryl Hydroxysultaine, Palmitic Acid, Etidronic Acid, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance (Parfum), BHT, Alcohol, Butylene Glycol, Soluble Collagen, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Phenoxyethanol

I bought this last year when it came out, so i have been using it for a bout 9 months. I use it every morning to cleanse my face and get rid of all the excess sebum accumulated overnight and i must say, it does a good job in cleansing. My face feels clean and fresh after washing! it doesnt leave a tight feeling immediately after washing, but if i dont put a moisturizer on afterwards, i get the tight feeling. one pump is actually more than enough for the entire face and neck. i usually use half a pump. so since 1 bottle has 150 pumps, this can actually last quite long. it's 13.90 for a bottle from watsons, guardian, or other stores and it is fun to use! the fluffy foam is really soft and gentle on the skin and the name and packaging of the product are just so cute! real marshmallowness :3 there is also a refill pack for 10.90 and 130ml of product. there is collagen in the ingredients to give soft smooth skin, but i read some where that the collagen gets washed off as well. so..i guess that's counter productive?
